System Performance Requirements
- General: Design, engineer, fabricate, and install access flooring to comply with performance requirements specified as demonstrated by testing of manufacturers corresponding stock systems per test methods specified, or if not specified, manufacturer's standard method.
- Floor panels, including those with cutouts, capable of supporting concentrated design loadsof the following magnitude with a permanent set not to exceed 0.01°
Light Duty CF 700
Medium Duty CF 800
Standard Duty CF 1000
Heavy Duty CF 1250
Extra Heavy Duty CF 1500
- Pedestal assemblies capable of withstanding axial loads of 5000 lbs. per pedestal without panels or stringers in place
- Floor system capable of supporting the following loads:
- Ultimate concentrated load shall not be less than value obtained from multiplying the factor indicated below by the specified concentrated design load on floor panels.
- Impact load: A load as noted below shall be dropped 35" onto a 1' square indentor. There shall be no system failure.
- Panel Drop Test: Panel shall be capable of being dropped face up from a height of 35" onto a concrete slab and still continue to meet all load performance requirements as previously defined.
